Dr Danny Glover

Danny serves as Chief Medical Officer for the Ladies European Tour, and Hotel Planner Tour, and director of the Ladies European Tour Performance Institute. He is a distinguished consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine with extensive emergency care expertise. He has worked with multiple premier league football clubs.
As the founder of a health technology startup and author of multiple publications focused on knowledge translation, Danny continues to pioneer advancements at the intersection of sports medicine and digital health. His vision centres on delivering optimal performance and care for athletes and patients.
Margo is a sports medicine clinician scientist based in Canada and serves as a professor and Assistant Dean at McMaster University and works with the International Golf Federation medical committee. With a deep passion for improving the health, safety, and well-being of athletes at all levels, Margo’s international focus spans scientific research, knowledge translation, policy development, advocacy, and prevention in elite sports. Margo has a particular interest in the health of women athletes, Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S), Safe Sport initiatives, and athlete mental health. Margo works with several prominent international sports organizations, including FIFA (Science), World Rugby (Anti-doping), International Golf (Medicine), World Anti-Doping Agency (Deputy Foundation Board Member), International Testing Agency (Health & Clinical Expert Group), ASOIF (Medical & Scientific Consult Group), and the International Olympic Committee (Games Group, Mental Health Working Group)
Prof. Margo Mountjoy

Dr Andrew Murray

Andrew works as Chief Medical and Scientific Officer for the European Tour Group, including DP World Tour, Hotel Planner Tour, Ryder Cup Europe, and the European Tour Performance Institute. He is Chief Scientific Officer for the Ladies European Tour, and a medical and scientific adviser for The R&A, and other leading golf organisations. He has worked at Olympic, Paralympic, and Commonwealth Games, and led medical teams at European and World Athletics Championships as well as AIG Womens’ Open’s, Ryder Cups, Solheim Cups and Open Championships. An honorary professor at Liverpool John Moores, he is faculty on International Olympic Committee sports medicine and physio courses, and has >130 peer reviewed publications, >100 international and national plenary presentations and has provided advisory to governments on sport and health from his base at the University of Edinburgh.
Professor of Human Physiology at Liverpool John Moores University where he combines his academic research with nutrition and physiology consultancy to some of the worlds leading sporting organisations. Graeme is currently working with The R&A, The DP World Tour Golf and European Ryder Cup Team. Outwith golf he consults to the British and Irish Lions and England Rugby, and several Premier League Football clubs and players. Graeme is currently the Deputy Chair of the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr) and is a fellow of both The European College of Sport Science and The British Association Of Sport and Exercise Sciences. Graeme regularly appears on television (BBC Trust me I’m a Dr, ITV Truth about food) and radio (BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Merseyside) discussing nutrition for health and sports performance. He has published over 160 original papers and review articles and regularly delivers key note conference presentations a across the world.

Amy O’Donnell

Amy is a Performance Nutritionist for the Ladies European Tour, Challenge Tour, England Golf and consultant to The R&A’s championships (AIG Women’s Open, Curtis Cup) and development teams, and the European Solheim Cup Team. She supports national federations including Golf Ireland and England Golf.
She gained a 2:1 BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences and Distinction in MSc Sport Nutrition, both from Liverpool John Moores University. Amy is currently studying for a professional doctorate regarding Golf and Nutrition. Amy is a keen golfer and plays off a handicap of 2.6 and was lucky enough to attend the 2021 Solheim Cup as the European Team Nutritionist.

David is a seasoned Performance Nutritionist with over a decade of applied experience in elite sport. His experience in golf includes multiple Ryder Cups, Open Championships and other major event delivery, while his brother Paul is a winner at DP World Tour level. Academically, David holds a PhD in Behaviour Change, Design Thinking, and Technology Innovation in Sports Nutrition from Liverpool John Moores University. His studies followed his passion, translating evidenced based research into practical solutions that solve problems at scale. He has accelerated the translation of his research to practice by co-founding Hexis, a personalised nutrition platform for human performance. He has looked after prominent athletes in the NBA, Premier League football, World Tour Cycling, and Professional Boxing
Dr David Dunne

Assoc. Prof Chris Bishop

Chris is Head of Department and Associate Professor of Strength and Conditioning at Middlesex University. He has supervised and led research projects in strength and conditioning, markers of high performance, and recovery in golf, and is on the medical and scientific advisory committee for The R&A, the Ladies European Tour and the DP World Tour.
Dr. Daniel Coughlan serves as the Head of Strength & Conditioning for the PGA European Tour Group and holds the position of National Lead for Sports Science and Medicine for England Golf. Combining expertise as a Strength & Conditioning Coach, Physiotherapist, and Sport Scientist, he exemplifies exceptional versatility and comprehensive knowledge across multiple disciplines. Dr. Coughlan’s academic contributions include his role as a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow in sports medicine, exercise, and health at University College London (UCL). His diverse professional background also encompasses work in both lacrosse and football, further demonstrating his broad experience across different sporting environments.

Dr Will Wynter-Bee

Will is the Chief Medical and Scientific Officer for EDGA (formerly the European Disabled Golf Association), and the Legends Tour. He qualified with distinction from the International Olympic Committee’s Mental Health in Elite Sport qualification, and mental health in golf is the subject of his PhD, where he works with many of the leading golf organisations.
Wimpie’s initial involvement in elite sport was in rowing where she served as the President of Rowing, chairing working groups for SASCOC and being a member of the Eminent Persons Group advising the Minister of Sport. She was on the working group for South Africa during the revision of the 2015 World Ant-Doping Code.
Her involvement is golf started with the preparation and successful implementation on January 01,2020 of the World Handicap System in South Africa and the SADC countries. She served as a member of the WHS Handicaps Operations Committee.
In 2020 Wimpie returned to her roots in the medical field by managing the COVID-19 requirements for professional golf tournaments after she successfully spearheaded the re-opening of Golf facilities 8 weeks after a national COVID-19 lockdown was announced by the South African Government.
Post COVID, she implemented the compliance to the ETG minimum medical requirements for all tournaments held in the SADC region under the auspices of the Sunshine Tour. Through the sponsorship and support of Mediclinic, world standard Player’s Health services are offered at South African tournaments.
Due to global warming and the impact of extreme heat on players and spectators, Wimpie is focussing on Extreme Health Risk Mitigation and is currently in the process of obtaining Ethical committee approval for a research study which aims to demonstrate the impact of the increase in core body and skin temperature on the performance of elite golfers with the ultimate objective to provide evidence supported guidance to tournament officials, event organisers and players/caddies to manage the health risks posed by extreme heat”

Dr Julie Amato

Dr. Julie Amato is a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice specializing in sport and performance psychology. She has 20 years of experience working with athletes in college and professional sports. Dr. Julie serves as the Director of Mental Wellness and Performance for the LPGA Tour, PGA Tour, and Korn Ferry Tours. She also serves as a consulting sports psychologist for the USGA National Development Program, Princeton University, Lafayette College, and for select professional athletes from the NBA and WNBA.
Dr. Julie majored in psychology at Brown University, where she also played basketball. She obtained her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia.
